Ayurvedic Courses, Training Programs and Events
In collaboration with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut, the University of Ayurvedic Medical School, in Pune India and The International Society for Ayurveda and Health (ISAH).

*Introduction to Ayurvedic Nutrition and Diet (AC) (CME: 16)

When: November 6 to 8, 2009; Friday: 1 to 6 p.m., Saturday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost: $300.00

Where: UConn Health Center, Farmington, CT (Directions)

Open to all

Tastes and digestion: food choices, food preparation and principles of diet and nutrition. Practicum may apply (TBA). Art and science of selecting food. Selected herbs and cooking techniques will be covered.

On Winter: Coping with Seasonal Changes

When: December 5, 2009; Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cost: $50.00

Where: UConn Health Center, Farmington, CT (Directions)

Open to all

Learn about seasons, seasonal effects on heath and wellness and how to modify life style to maintain proper balance. Selected herbs will be discussed.

Wellness and Spiritual Retreat with Dr. Amala Guha

2 to 5 day retreat takes one in isolation with one self and with the surroundings to experience spirituality within one self. Dr. Guha and team will lead techniques such as meditation, nature walks, guided imagery, chanting, etc.

15 to 20 Day Retreat in India for 2010
