Ayurvedic Courses, Training Programs and Events
In collaboration with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut, the National Institute of Ayurveda in Jaipur, India and The International Society for Ayurveda and Health (ISAH).

Registrations are not refundable. Registered participants will be notified if there are any time and place changes.

Spiritual Conclave (SC): Mind, Matter and Consciousness

When: May 17, 2013
Time: 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.
Where: UConn Health Center, Conference Room EG013
Cost: Free

SC provides a platform for discussions on global issues, various aspects of mind, matter and consciousness (mind, body and spirit), spirituality, preservation of nature, natural phenomenons, health, healing and wellness incorporating science, philosophy, humanity and research. Attending members choose the topic for discussion. Open to the public.

Herbs for Aging

When: May 17, 2013
Time: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: UConn Health Center, Conference Room EG013
Cost: $30

You will learn the anti-aging properties of selected herbs and how to use them along with some of the techniques to improve memory, vitality and vigor.

Healing Tea

When: May 23, 2013
Time: 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.
Where: UConn Health Center, Conference Room EG013
Cost: $30

Participants will learn the medicinal properties of various herbal teas, how to prepare them and when to use them.

Breathe to Relax: An Ayurvedic Approach to Relaxation

When: May 23, 2013
Time: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: UConn Health Center, Conference Room EG013
Cost: Free

The one-hour session consists of instructions, health information and discussions followed by relaxation techniques.

What to bring: two blankets or a yoga mat and a blanket/shawl. You can also bring a small pillow.
Please do not eat a half hour to an hour before coming to class. Registration is requested in order to save the space. Space is limited.

An educational program presents a broad range of subjects based on or related to "Ayurveda," the world's oldest comprehensive health care system and the origin of “mind, body and spirit” concept.
