Medical School (MS):

Understanding Ayurveda: The
Ancient Art of Healing
Introduction to the principles and practices of Ayurveda and
Ayurvedic medicine, application in daily life, nutrition, health
and wellness (mind, body and spirit connection), therapeutic
applications and interventions. |
Medical School:
4th Year, 4 Credits |
Ayurvedic: The Whole System of
Medicine
Experience in Ayurvedic Medicine at Ayurvedic Medical School in
India. For 15 days, students immerse in clinical Ayurveda,
learning from inpatient and outpatient clinical experiences.
Field trips to witness herbs in their natural habitats and learn
their clinical application. |

Independent Studies
Students can also select a topic or area to research under the
supervision of Dr. Amala Guha and assigned faculty at NIA,
Jaipur. |

Ayurvedic
Clinical Assessment Program
Provides in-depth knowledge of principles and practices of Ayurvedic
Medicine, Ayurvedic differential diagnosis, comparative understanding
between Ayurvedic medicine and western medical system, Ayurvedic herbal
medicine, interventions and applications.
Ayurvedic Mental and Spiritual Health
Provides understanding of Ayurvedic concept of mind (Manas) and its
intimacy with body and spirit. Causes of mental dysfunctions and
interventions and how Ayurvedic philosophy and spirituality incorporates
scientific applications in ritual practices.
Ayurvedic Preventative and Nutritional Medicine
Ayurvedic principles and practices and its application on life style,
nutrition and creating balance for the maintenance of total health and
wellness.
